Hi, I’m Mirandah!

I’m a third-year student at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. In addition to journalism, I’m studying Spanish and food studies. You can also find me at UO’s Robert D. Clark Honors College, where I’m producing a thesis on food journalism and audience engagement.

I’ve been drawn to journalism for years, getting my start in my high school’s various publications, where I wrote and edited for my school’s paper and helped found a podcast club. I’m of the belief that everyone has a story to tell, and I’m interested in helping people share their stories with the world around them.

Currently, I write profiles and narrative stories for the CHC Post, the newsletter for the Clark Honors College and I produce content for the News Desk at KWVA 88.1 FM, the student radio station for UO. Away from school, I’m a reporting intern for Eugene Weekly, a local alt-weekly that distributes to hundreds of locations across Lane County, OR.
