I’m a senior at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. In addition to journalism, I’m studying Spanish and food studies. You can also find me at UO’s Robert D. Clark Honors College, where I’m producing a thesis on food journalism and audience engagement.

I’ve been drawn to journalism for years, starting with my high school’s various publications, where I wrote for and edited the school paper and helped found a podcast club. Since then, I’ve contributed to UO’s student paper, the Daily Emerald and written profile stories for the Clark Honors College.

Currently, I’m an intern for the Charles Snowden Excellence in Journalism program at the Salem Reporter. I also contribute to Eugene Weekly through the Catalyst Journalism Project.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably cooking or eating.
