I’m an award-winning reporter and recent graduate from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication and the Robert D. Clark Honors College. Currently, I’m the Business Reporting Intern for The Seattle Times. Most recently, I was co-editor-in-chief of a special reporting project on Colombia's coffee industry.
I specialize in economy and food reporting, but I was raised on profiles and features. My appetite for journalism started in high school, where I wrote for and edited the school paper and helped found a podcast club. Since then, I’ve contributed to various publications at the University of Oregon, interned for the Charles Snowden Excellence in Journalism program at the Salem Reporter and contributed to Eugene Weekly and The East Oregonian through the Catalyst Journalism Project.
When I’m not writing, I’m probably cooking or eating.
Sometimes, I’m still writing about it!
