Ann Oluloro: A mother’s story fuels a lifelong career in women’s health

After a colleague at the CHC Post encouraged me to look into writing an alum profile on Ann Oluloro, I quickly discovered the attention her family received in the 1990s for her mother’s deportation case. Winning that case meant that her family would be able to stay in the US and that Ann and her sister wouldn’t have to fear a worse fate that may have awaited them had they been deported. Ann was then able to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor, one she had since she was a young girl playing with a doctor kit.
