Jesse Feddersen: Exploring the cosmos

After meeting with Jesse over Zoom in the summer, I got the chance to interview him again — the second time in his office. His space was still not quite complete, as he had just begun settling into the CHC after making a big move from Wyoming. His office was so welcoming regardless, and we drank tea while the rain beat down on the window from outside. I asked him all kinds of questions, many about the boxes he still had yet to unpack. What would make it feel like home? As it turns out, a telescope that he was gifted in high school was in a box in the corner. He’d go on to use the same telescope in his classes and for CHC events throughout the upcoming school year.
